Environmental sustainability policy
As part of our broader commitment to corporate social responsibilty, MGI Perth is also committed to sound environmental practices.
In considering our environmental impact, we seek to purchase products and services with the following principles in mind:
- minimise greenhouse gas emission
- maximise sustainability
- utilise recycled content where possible
- minimise the use of water and electricity
- minimise toxicity.
MGI Perth, in partnership with climate change consultants, Greensense, is working towards a positive response to the climate change challenge by maintaining a carbon-friendly "green" office. Our aim is to reduce our emissions in the following areas:
- reducing electricity-based emissions
- increasing the recycled content of our paper products
- participating in recycling programs, including toner cartridges, paper and other recyclable waste
- water efficiency
- energy efficient office appliances, including multi-function devices (MFDs) which result in further energy savings.
